چکیده
Infrared imaging spectrometers detect and identify targets by collecting spectral image information. However, when detecting small temperature differences dynamic targets, the accuracy of infrared detection is reduced, traditional scanning structure time longer, real-time performance poor it easy to introduce motion artifacts. This paper proposes an polarization snapshot system (PSIFTIS) based on a polarizer array, lens array roof-shaped stepped micromirror. Polarized light can solve problem small-temperature-difference target recognition characterizing surface properties materials. Lens arrays utilize multi-aperture achieve targets. The obtain 4D data information, including polarization, in single measurement cycle. study completed overall optical design PSIFTIS simulation experiment using it. Finally, prototype was built laboratory spectrum carried out. experimental results show that could accurately information for target, resolution reached 7.8 cm−1 Stokes error less than 5%.

Assessing polarization effects for the Airborne imaging spectrometer APEX
In the scope of hyperspectral airborne imaging spectrometer (APEX) design activities, the acceptable sensitivity of linear polarization of the spectrometer is analyzed by assessing the amount of polarization of reflected light in the atmosphere-surface system. A large number of calculations is performed for a wide variaty of viewing geometries to study the influences of aerosol models, natural ...
متن کاملSnapshot imaging Mueller matrix polarimeter using polarization gratings.
A snapshot imaging Mueller matrix polarimeter (SIMMP) is theoretically described and empirically demonstrated through simulation. Spatial polarization fringes are localized onto a sample by incorporating polarization gratings (PGs) into a polarization generator module. These fringes modulate the Mueller matrix (MM) components of the sample, which are subsequently isolated with PGs in an analyze...
متن کاملMWIR Snapshot Imaging Spectrometer: Calibration and Imaging Experiments; Complete Imaging Stokes Polarimeter for the 3-5 um Spectral Band
We report results of experimentation with a new, high-resolution MWIR non-scanning, snapshot imaging spectrometer capable of simultaneously recording spatial and spectral data from a rapidly varying target scene. The instrument is based on computed tomography concepts and operates in a midwave infrared band of 3.0 to 5.0 μm. High speed spectral imaging was demonstrated by collecting spectro-spa...
متن کاملAirborne Visible / Infrared Imaging Spectrometer AVIS: Design, Characterization and Calibration
The Airborne Visible / Infrared imaging Spectrometer AVIS is a hyperspectral imager designed for environmental monitoring purposes. The sensor, which was constructed entirely from commercially available components, has been successfully deployed during several experiments between 1999 and 2007. We describe the instrument design and present the results of laboratory characterization and calibrat...
متن کاملNon-scanning dual infrared band hyperspectral imaging spectrometer design
Recent advances in dual band infrared focal plane technology now enable the design and testing of a dual infrared band snapshot imaging spectrometer, the first-ever of its kind. A review of proof of concept results from a dual-visible-band Computed Tomographic Imaging Spectrometer (CTIS) system is presented. The dual-visible system demonstrates that it is possible to reconstruct two spatially c...
